Qualifications

• This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
• Experience in welding and fabrication within a construction or manufacturing setting
• Proficiency in math skills for precise measurements
• Familiarity with rigging techniques and mechanical knowledge related to welding processes
• Ability to operate various machinery including skid steers and plasma cutting equipment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety practices in the workplace
• Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing project requirements

Responsibilities

• The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality metal components and assemblies while adhering to safety standards
• Perform MIG, and stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications for fabrication
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as plasma cutters for metal fabrication
• Conduct assembly tasks including fabrication and gate assembly
• Operate telehandler and skid steer safely to move materials and finished products
• Ensure all work complies with standards for quality assurance
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently
• Includes inventory organization
• Loading and unloading material and equipment
• Some off site welding on occasion
