Anticipated Interview Dates: We anticipate holding in-person interviews beginning September 15, 2025.

Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

Effective July 1, 2025, The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025). CalPERS seeks an Office Technician (General) in the Pension Contracts and Prefunding Programs Division (PCPP), State Social Security Administrator Unit.

The Office Technician on the SSSA team is responsible for:
  • Ensuring that all work is assigned to the analyst
  • Reviewing and assigning incoming correspondence
  • Tracking, preparing, and mailing outgoing correspondence
  • Preparing handouts for conferences
  • Answering unit telephone line
  • Providing support for webinars and presentations
  • Setting up meetings both in person and virtually
  • Maintaining electronic and paper records of unit’s documents and correspondence

Statement of Qualifications
