Midtown Title and its family of affiliated companies are seeking an experienced Real Estate Closing Attorney to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly skilled and client-focused team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting real estate closings, reviewing title examinations, and advising clients on a wide range of real estate matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct residential and commercial real estate closings , including limited local travel as needed.
  • Review title examinations and provide guidance on clearing title issues.
  • Draft and review purchase agreements, contracts, and conveyance deeds.
  • Review due diligence materials , including organizational documents, title, and surveys, and address any closing-related concerns.
  • Advise staff and clients on a variety of real estate matters, ensuring compliance with state and industry regulations.
  • Review legal documents , including Wills, Power of Attorney, and Trusts, as they relate to real estate transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Tennessee with no history of suspension or discipline.
  • At least one year of experience as a real estate attorney is preferred; direct closing experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and manage priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of professionalism.
  • Strong ethical standards, including respect for confidentiality, fiduciary responsibilities, and legal obligations.
