We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. $25 - $29 hourly

• Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment
• Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans
• React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts
• Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures
• Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments

• Maintain all hotel equipment, maintenance plans, and safety policies according to company and brand standards
• Complete daily logs of operations, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, and accidents
• Understand a variety of repairs and maintenance systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, fire code, pool, etc.) and continue to learn daily, as well as be willing to receive all appropriate certifications and trainings as requested
• Work diligently on assigned tasks and take initiative to solve problems and create more efficient processes
• Direct, supervise, and support the maintenance team
• Create a welcoming environment for guests and solve guest concerns promptly
• Be prepared to support the property after hours in the event of an emergency or temporary staff shortage
• Work with a variety of tools, hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade
• Perform other duties as requested by the General Manager

• Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
• 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role
• Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory
• You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
