About the Role:

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients. Your main responsibility will be to assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. You will be responsible for performing various administrative and clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medical procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service to patients. Your role will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare facility, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program and current certification.
• Ability to accurately take and record vital signs.
• Experience with sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a healthcare clinic setting.
• Experience answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care and treatment.
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with medical procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
